I’ve been good this year, apparently.
I got time off to relish in and some great meals with my folks. I also got to jam with a good friend of mine — something we both missed. On that same day, we met with a good friend that’s studying in the Netherlands. It was great to catch up, laugh at her new haircut and find out we still get along. I also found out another friend of mine is not as bad as I thought her to be, and that after 16 years of knowing her. It’s amazing how beer can open your eyes like that.
It also snowed. On christmas day, well, night. I only noticed at 4 in the morning, when I peeled my eyes away from the monitor. At that time, the streets were white, the sky was red and snowflakes were blurring the horizon.
It’s hard to write about the rest, but there is more. I got to see another friend. One I had not talked to in quite some time. ‘The yer of silence’ is the best way I can describe it.
While talking to said friend, I noticed I tend to lead conversations to programming, which I don’t like, nor does she. It was good to see that, while I never was forgiven, I had been forgotten, but in a good way. I guess the blurry snowflakes helped with that.
Did I mention I like snow?
