stormrider, again, I will never tell anyone to 'use twitter!' But on your comment, twitter is not meant to do any of the things you just said. You do have blogs, books, beer and blahblahs for that. However, as far as spreading news quickly to a huge number of people is concerned, it has become unmatched.

mine`s probably not, but i still can't see the reason why i should use twitter to get great things that people say. they have newspapers, books, hey, even blogs for that [yes, 'micro-blogging blah blah. you can't hold a real journal in 100 characters!]. but you can't say that many a things about a certain subject in so few words. yes, quotes are cool and such, but they are also a bit vague. i like a good argument, which you can't really get on that little thingie.

Raka, as far as society goes, the rules it imposes are made up for by the liberties it grants. But, out of you 'friends, brains, evenings, alcohol, girls and twitter' you forgot 'boys' -- please do not neglect me again :D

Yep. I've read some random part of them rules myself, and if I may, I've got no idea what should I do now. Since I'm relativeley new to Twitter, there's some common sense guidelines I'd be having to follow and a lot of parameters that there's no way yet to match up to. "Star Wars"-wise speaking, I'm nothing but a young padawan in twitter so far, but time is the universal resolve to all of mankind's problems anyway, isn't it? :)

Nonetheless, it seems like a fun "toy" to have, and truly, it didn't come with any type of "end-user's manual", so technically speaking, it's nice to have a round up overview about "what's what and what's not", but not in the way to have another thing to constrict us :) Regarding this, human nature, jobs and rigid society values have already done a great job so far :)

So I hope I'm not missing anything when i say "thank God for friends, brains, evenings, alcohol, girls and twitter!" :)
