Remember Tom Anderson?
He is the co-founder of the dreaded myspace thingie, but there is more.
When someone signed up for an account on the social network, they would already have a friend: Tom. I guess it was supposed to be a way to make new users not feel awash on a deserted island after setting up their account.
Don’t buy into that!
Tom Anderson only wanted to be popular on a social network. Any social network.
Since he failed on all the others, he decided to build his own!
He now has around 270 million friends!
Yes, that is how lonely some people can get.

Well now, I guess loneliness really is a butt biter… Now I finally understood all those foreign standup comedy jokes about “not even Tom wants to be his friend” of which I had no idea about but I took it as it was.
Guess his loneliness gave him the opportunity to really cash in some uncommon friendships throughout time, as soon as the cashflow started to thicken…
Guess a little bit (boredom) goes a long way…
Raka, it gets better: he has not one, but two
Fake, I presume, but equally funny.
myspacefacebook profilesAh, I see… so now he wants to double the notorious status that he aquired a few years ago, i guess?
Last I checked he had over 1000 friends. Not even close to his myspace count, but huge nonetheless.
I wonder what would happen if he asked each and every one of his online buddies for $1…
we could try that out, who knows? it might actually work… Hell! I’ll even play the “very sick child in need of surgery” routine that goes around these days
and we can discuss the financial terms after the first million
What say you?
Raka, I say: don’t quit your day job!
I need peace of mind way more than I need money.
Well, that and food
I just got a raise last month, I ain’t quitting anything
) BUT, on the other hand, food is important… And gas ain’t for free either, so… If we have a go on this utopic project, just let me know so I can schedule the “poor sick child in need routine” photoshoot
I’m off to school now. School of blogs, that is
