Today, Google launched their new app / plugin, Chrome Frame.
What it basically does is make IE render pages using the Google Chrome Engine (Webkit) and it also makes IE use Google’s V8 Javascript Engine.
I’ve created a simple wordpress plugin to allow all you wordpress users to benefit from Google’s new technology.
Download Google Chrome Frame for Wordpress!
Google Chrome Frame is an early-stage open source plug-in that seamlessly brings Google Chrome’s open web technologies and speedy JavaScript engine to Internet Explorer. With Google Chrome Frame, you can:
- Start using open web technologies – like the HTML5 canvas tag – right away, even technologies that aren’t yet supported in Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8.
- Take advantage of JavaScript performance improvements to make your apps faster and more responsive.

speaking of wordpress, I’m gonna start building up my banner and settling for the prefferences for the old project we talked about
what width were you saying i should use for the header picture and stuff?
if there’s more restrictions to it, on a technical / coloring / sizes matter, let me know, so i can photoshop my way out of the issues and still get the desired effect
Raka, to get started on that one, come up with a banner that’s 1000px or 960px in width. We’ll work out the rest after that.
Thanks, buddy
I’ll be getting it on with all that this weekend
emm.. i will try

Great plug-in! It’s good to see people working around the Microsoft inferiority complex. I’m definitely excited that IE users won’t be hindered as much as in the past.
ParthenonPromotions, thank you!
Also, I took a peek at your blog. Cool stuff!
And, be sure to check out this post on gravatar to get you started on using the service.
